YSB Datathon

A datathon to work on the gaps in our analysis on the YSB data. We need analytical, GIS and storytelling skills!

Agenda:

NEW: Do geospatial analysis to frame question: “Does the East end of Ottawa need better service?” This will be the primary analytic focus for Datathon.

Recommendations for better data coding/entry
Point out where data accuracy is lacking to help push compliance

Highlight what is possible if data was more complete (postal codes, exit dates…)

Finish analysis on client entry programs – she like what we have done here. Need to polish and add stories for context

Create stories to support the geospatial charts

Polish the heatmaps for Mental Health and Housing. Include storytelling.
